Power of Intention: Water Crystal Experiments by Dr. Masaru Emoto

Disclaimer: This blog is meant to be non-secular and heavily focused on productivity and the power of your intentions towards expressing the "leader within you".

Who is Dr. Masaru Emoto? He was a Japanese author and international researcher who claimed that human consciousness has an effect on the molecular structure of water.

His early work explored his belief that water could react to positive thoughts and words, and that polluted water could be cleaned through prayer and positive visualization

Since 1999, Emoto published several volumes of a work entitled Messages from Water, which contain photographs of ice crystals and their accompanying experiments. Emoto's ideas appeared in a movie I watched In 2004 called: What the Bleep Do We Know!?  (Thank you to my uncle Khairul, for introducing me to this movie. He is also an avid reader of Emergence book club books).

The water experiments

What does this show?

5 bottles of water were labeled with 5 "names" of religions, under a microscope they found that it creates beautiful snowflake-like designs. All from a natural order.

What does this tell us?

  1. This is a natural phenomenon.

  2. These water crystals are highly sophisticated.

  3. Intention is the root energy that is creating order.

  4. This is coming naturally without the use of technology or physical human created tools.

  5. This "energy" is always there and it's working right now. Whether we care to admit it or not.

  6. Good intention, through various means, like meditation or prayer can morph water into beautiful designs highly sophistical crystals.

  7. Our intention is more powerful than we might be aware of. We need to remind ourselves to hone in on what really fuels us.

  8. This is peace of mind to you, because you can use your intentions to control your reality.
  9. This is the same intention, yes your intention/attention, that companies like Coca Cola, pay millions of dollars per year for. This same attention, is Coca Cola's livelihood, so you buy sugared water.

Massive spending for your attention, or in other words, intention to buy

Massive advertising and spending:  Coca Cola spends 4 times more than McDonalds

In conclusion, these images are showing us, through science and experience, that our intentions are powerful. These thoughts can shape who we are, as our body is 72% water.

Hope you found this post useful, and maybe inspires you to harness your inner power of intention.

P.S. Makes you wonder, how "smart" Glaceau, is in marketing their products. You, Glaceau, are a clever one my friend. I, now, see what you did there.

P.S.S. As Dr. Masaru Emoto was from Tokyo, I have always been quite passionate about Japanese cars (I drove a custom rally blue Turbo Integra in college) and have been always fascinated by Japanese culture after my parents went to Japan. Also, my mentor, David Korobkin, told me about his travels when during his 20+ years consulting for Toyota and launching the Lexus branding strategy.

P.S.S. Recently, I have been speaking with my friend Speechie through Facebook (check out his insightful photography on instagram: NightAwaits).

He has an inner passion for Japan, this has rekindled this "need" to visit Japan firsthand in addition to a Southeast Asia trip that I've been planning for almost 3 years.

Time will tell.

Hope you found this post useful.

Cheers,
