Fear

Growing up we get used to giving our power away. How do we do that? We grow up being dependent on our parents, school, and jobs to keep us with money in our pocket, shelter, and food in our bellies.

As an adult, we get our own place, and we get more control. We get to control our focus. This is a choice at every moment. We can give it away or we can take 100% responsibility.

Statements like:

  1. I can't do it because I wasn't raised like that.
  2. I can't do it because I don't have the time for it.
  3. I can't do it because (insert family member or school here) never gave me the opportunity.

Life gives you what you expect.

If this is what you expect, what will you get?

What if you gave yourself the power?

What if you gave permission to think for yourself.

What if you gave yourself the commitment to follow through on the burning purpose within you?

10 years from now, we might say, well "it wasn't as hard as I thought it was".

For every problem, there is an equivalent or greater solution behind it. That's if you allow yourself to not give up.

Makes you think, your future self will ask: "What was I even scared about?"
