Why you should leverage video: Every problem is a communication problem

A global map of devices connected to the Internet.

As we are going through massive changes as a culture and society due to technology, the main problem will always be communication.

Every problem is a people problem.

Every people problem is a communication problem.

At a very low cost, you can leverage the power of video today.

At a very low cost, you can leverage the power of video today.

Leverage your time

A perspective on leverage: If 1000 people view your work, that's 1000 minutes of someone's time or 16 hours for your 1 minute of video.

I try to be mindful of what I put out there, as I've been following technology for over 15 years and I've never seen leverage like we see today.

What we give is what we will get back multiplied.

In the video below, I go over how video is an evolution to language and why video is a great communication tool to spread your ideas.

Equipment I used to shoot the video

I travel a lot, and today I tried out this mobile setup that I have in my travel gear.

This video was shot with Canon T3i DSLR

  • Lens: Canon 50mm
  • Audio: Lapel wired mic, lining into Canon DSLR
  • 2 studio fluorescent running lights with light stand
  • By the way, this whole camera setup is less than $1000.
  • As for my setup, honestly I'd rather shoot with my iPhone 6!! So much faster and you know how much I love speed.

I hope you found this post useful.
